Who I am
I build open-source infrastructure for AI agents, authentication, and billing, then write the guides that get other engineers running it. I do DevRel at Kinde, I'm one of 33 Convex Developer Champions, and I founded DevRel Studio.
What a developer relations engineer does for a startup
A developer relations engineer helps developers adopt a product. I do this in four ways: I write technical content that solves a real problem with the product, I build reference apps and open-source integrations, I run workshops and talks, and I measure what each piece of work delivers.
The companies I work with
I work with companies that sell to developers, mostly in authentication, billing, backends, AI agent frameworks, and AI infrastructure. Kinde, Convex, and Vercel each selected me within the same twelve months, and I worked with Bright Data's AI engineering team on their market research terminal.
Writing about AI agents, authentication, and MCP
Yes. These are my main topics. I have written about AI agent identity, delegation, step-up authentication, audit trails, the confused deputy problem, and secure MCP servers, and I built a working demo for each article.
Code as well as content
Both. I have published 15 npm packages, and I build the reference apps behind my articles, such as Jev Gatehouse and the Kinde Agent Kit. Each article comes with code that readers can run.
Building on Convex, or moving to it
Yes. I am one of 33 Convex Developer Champions. I built every client project at NextMVP, my product studio, on Convex, I have published 14 components in the official Convex Components Directory, and I help founders and engineers move their apps to Convex.
Where I am based
I am based in Lagos, Nigeria, and I work remotely.
